Kenneth M. Banner, MD, is an accomplished physician who has been part of the team at Gastrointestinal Associates of Rockland PC in New City, New York, since 2016.

Dr. Banner completed his undergraduate education, medical degree, and postgraduate training all in New York City. He graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University in Washington Heights, Manhattan, with a Bachelor of Science in biology, where he was also named a Belkin Scholar, and earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.

The doctor completed an internship in internal medicine at Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He completed additional training in liver disease at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City during his fellowship. 

Dr. Banner is an attending physician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York, and Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, New York, and he holds privileges at Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University Langone Medical Center, both in New York City. He’s also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
